I have a rabbit that a customer brought me it's my first cottontail I skinned it already but I didn't do the ears I heard poking small holes in the ears with apin and tanning it with denatured alchohol I need a little help also what eyes do I use my reference pictures and they don't have solid black eyes but hollow bubble eyes are what I was told to use anyone with help I would surely appreciate it.

You should split the ears, use eoxy sculpt pressed thin and shaped inside the ears. do this the day before mounting. Aslo, use brown eyes for a cotton tail. The eyes are not black.
Also, you cannot tan a skin with alcohol, it is just a preservative.
You would still have to figure a way to hole the ears in place till dry as the ears would ust curl up as they dry out.
