liqua tan without tumbler

Submitted by Bob on 12/23/2003. ( ) 24.3.188.226

I have a cape that was liqua tanned. It is now in the freezer.
After I thaw it to mount do I need to tumble it?
I do not have a tumbler and the wife might get a little upset if I put it in the dryer. I did research the archives and did not find the answer, unless I missed it.
Is tumbling necessary or is there an alternative?
Thanks for any advice.

no, i have been using liqua tan for 7 years and i've never tumbled a deer hide that i was mounting. remember, your hide is wet and you don't want to dry it totally out which is what a tumbler would do. good luck!

None needed

Though I like to use a dryer help dry the hair out quicker not the skin. After you wash it just take a few towels and towel dry it like you do to your hair. In my case there not to much to dry LOL.

Thanks
