over twenty years in this industry and never heard of refreshing a hide, please inform us?
my be i should have said pelt /fur
What John is asking is what state is the hide in ? is it salt dried , air dried , tanned, on the carcass , what ? He needs more information to give a correct answer. B.Bishop
hi it's been tanned with lutan-f i've been told
in a solution of tide and water and then towel it to get eccess moisture out , as it dries , you need to work the skin side over the edge of a table or anything with a crisp edge you can work back and forth to soften the hide ( if just tanning the skin and not mounting ) if you are mounting it , go ahead and do so after towel driing.
