How about this?

I've been thinking of making a tumbler to dry some pheasants. I was in the basement, when I noticed my wife's old treadmill. I wonder if I get a barrel, fill it with sawdust and brace the barrel there, how well it would work. This might be a good idea for you guys that need a tumbler. I always see treadmills for sale in the newspaper or at flea markets. What do you think?

Sounds like a great idea for a cartoon. I can just see it now in Breakthrough. LOL!

You know what?

just go for it and try and see if it works. If it does, then you can laugh at Spongebobsquarepants and if it doesn't you can still sell the treadmill. Sounds like a win win situation to me. Let us know how it works out.

better yet

It would be easyer to just put a crank on the barrel and wife on crank.

or wife on treadmill :)

Why not use a little motor

I dont know anything about tumblers, but why not just get one of those plastic 55 gal drums that they put juice in, fix up an axle and some reduction gears and use the motor off of a dryer, table saw, etc? Just an idea.Good Luck
