Sort them out one at a time.

Burrs are not easy to get out. Just work each one out, one at atime.

Pull the hair away from the burr, work on side at a time, then the burr will be freed.

hair detangler works great, the burrs slide out fairly easy

Its not that hard

I recently cleaned a Coyote with numerous burrs in the tail. I grasped the burr, then pulled the hair out from benieth it. i got all 8 out in under 2 minutes. Just play around with it a bit and it will work fine.

I hate to sound like George, but...

does this question really need to be answered? Maybe you cross your arms in front of your chest, blink and nod your head, and they'll magically disappear. :) I mean, really.... no matter how you whack it with a stick, you're going to have to take the time to sit down, commit yourself to all three minutes of the project and pick them out.
Hate to be a curmudgeon, but I bet there are more than a few of the regular contributors who are thinking, 1) this guy can't figure this out for himself?, and 2) Damn! Somebody finally found a question so bizarre that it ISN'T in the archives. LMAO
