What is the Best Material to add a drop tine to a buck?

I am looking to try something new and add a drop tine to a buck I took this year and was wondering what the best material would be to sculpt and then stain. I am planning on drilling a small hole in the antlers then epoxy in a wire, shape to desired angle, then add material.

use bondo ontop of the wire to add body to the tine, also saves $ on the magic sculpt. after bondo, do use magic sculpt (natural color) then stain with potasium permangenate. works great!

BONDO?

Some of you people must have that crap running through your veins. Go the archives and look up "antler repair". Old Man is close, but there are a few even better listed there. What money you may think you've saved with using Bondo will be used up again as soon as the customer dings it one time and it cracks and you have to repair it AGAIN.
