Is this smaller machine capable of fleshing all of a deer cape, not just facial detail? Its in my price range and its got to be better than a air powered hand flesher!

I have fleshed up to a large cow hide on mine. It takes a little longer, but you can get the same results with the detail flesher, as with the full sized ones.

I have one and it works great on deer hides and I can get them thin on it. It was the one that was in my price range too. I would buy an extra set of carbons for it. You will need them and might as well have them shipped at the same time to save shipping later.

I wanted to purchase a fleshing machine till i got introduced to the variable speed benchgrinder method. I have a Delta variable speed 1/2hp 3500rpm grinder. just a simple machine it cost me 65 $$. i put a wire wheel on one side and a corse stone on the other ,i removed the guards. Placed a 26 gallon tote in behind it to act as a shroud. I can shave down a hide in approx 35 minutes and it looks s good if not better then thehides i have recieve through the mail. just an idea you really dont need to spend the big money to still get good quality.
