Frozen hide paste.

Hi
I just received some supplies yesterday. My Buckeye Supreme hide paste is frozen solid as a brick. (I live in Green Bay, WI and it was 13 below zero yesterday.) It says on the container not to let it freeze. Does anyone know if it will be OK? I called McKenzie, but their tech people were not available.
Thank you,
Steve

Probably not good...

I wanted to order some last year about now, and after talking to them decided against it. From what I was told by McKenzie, you should not let it freeze. If it were me I would just leave the tech person a message, they usually return your call right away.

See you at the WTA show?

FYI, Tech called me back.

Hi
Perry from McKenzie called me back. He said that he has been doing some testing with freezing Buckeye Supreme recently. He said that as long as it was not frozen for any length of time that it should be OK. It couldn't have been frozen for too long. He said to let it thaw out, use a mixer attached to a drill and mix it really good to a smooth and creamy consistency. Right now it is thawed out and looks kind of dry and grainey. I'll give it a shot. Gotta love living in the 'Frozen Tundra'.
