What do you plan to do with the hide? It makes a difference in how you stretch it.

CHECK WITH TANNERY

CHECK BACK WITH TANNERY AND THEY WILL TELL YOU HOW TO REHYDRATE THE SKIN, FOR EXAMPLE;IF IT IS FOR RUG MOUNT, IF IT WAS DRY TANNED, THEY WILL PROBABLY TELL YOU TO SOAK IT IN A SALT WATER SOLUTION AND THEN REFRIGERATE, FOR ABOUT 24HRS THEN TAKE OUT AND STRETCH AND NAIL TO YOUR RUG BOARD. CHECK WITH TANNERY, THEY CAN HELP YOU WITH YOUR ?

Thanks guys

tenbears - I'm going to make a rug but i'm only doing the head. I don't care for the pad and felt look. I just really want it to be origional size. This bear was over 500 lbs and the skull scores 21 15/16 and qualifies for both SCI and B&C. Thanks

Jimbo - Great idea, never thought of that . I'll give them a call today. Thanks a lot.
