why do you insist on doing the devils work ?
do you have any advice?
Avice? get serious, theres some good advice!
freezing after DP is fine. It won't hurt a thing. Dp is not devils work either by the way. Tanning is just for people who are to lazy to mount all their head at once and need the excuse to tell their customer ( I haven't got it back from the Tannery yet)
You nailed it bigtime. with that response. lol i hafe to laugh. If your gonna use Dp. i would seriously recomend the best out there. BESS MAID. dp. Also get those arms up in the neck , when your ready to slip that hide on and pry your arms apart to help stretch it out. .
Ace was refering to, Barry----------'s name. It's no wonder post get out of kilter in here, nobody reads them all, correctly.
I read the post. and to be honest i could care less what people call themselves. to each there own. I was simply stating a fact of agreement with powderhorn.
sad
Plus its harder to tan than toss soe powder on the hide.
Yep DP is for lazy people.
Lazy is the last thing I am. I just don't understand if you can make a mount look just as good with DP as you can your littly tanning process then why bother. Are you doing it for the money or are you just bored. It takes me approximately 3 1/2 hrs to mount a deer with DP and it will hold and look good, (12yrs Exp). So why bother with all the pickles and down time when I can be getting another satisfied customer out the door, and started on another, and stay within my turn around time. If you tanners know what that is (turn around time) No it is not two years it is as little as three weeks, if you will do the work.
