Should a liqua tanned deer cape be tumbled flesh side out at all to remove oil for better adhesion?

You can tumble your cape in your tumbler with a small amount of mineral spirits in your hardwood sawdust to help remove the oil residue from your cape. I first tumble inside out - then will finish hair side out ( some times you may need to change your tumbling material if it becomes too saturated)
