Just wondering that when you are getting ready to salt the hide, after it is salted do you roll up the cape with the hair side out or in.....Thanks

Lay the hide flat when salting and preferably on an angle for the first 24 hours. Shake off the salt then completely cover again. Don't scrimp on the salt at any time! Just before it is to hard to fold, fold it hair to hair for easier transport or shipping.
Searched pages from www.taxidermy.net for salting. Results 1 - 10 of about 588. Search took 0.45 seconds.
Pretty hard to find or just lazy one.
Try Salting hides too.
......It is funny that a guy/gal can not ask a question here that possibly was asked in the archives before without the "CLICK THE ORANGE BUTTON idiot" response that is nornally given by the same people who are posting un-related to Taxidermy topics such as politics.
Think before you speak........
And say nicely .....We are here to help you so if you click on the search button you will find thousands of answers to this and other questions....If you still need help we are here for you. Good luck
Not too hard is it ?
This is my first visit to this forum and I can't believe how many of these "search first you idiot" responses I'm seeing. Anything from the smarta-s that posted the .045 second response to some guy telling someone to "piss off jerk".
I mean, I know that folks don't use the search feature on forums like they should, but as you mention, there is a way to deal with people that doesn't offend them or make them leary of asking questions in the future.
My first impression, for what that's worth, of this forum would not be very good except for the fact that I realize that it's always the few that make the whole deal look bad.
