I have a tanned skunk hide and I need to soften the face around the nose. The nose was push in, flatened, and I want to return it to its original shape. this area of the face is very stiff and I wondered if I can soak it in water to soften it. I have no taxidermy experience and this is a "one-time" thing for me. Please reply to my e-mail address and thanks to all who can help.
