Hi
My first deer mount turned out pretty nice. It does resemble a deer. The lips did not pull out and look decent, but I can see the pin holes when I look close. My question is how do you pin the lips so that you don't end up being able to see pin holes? or do I need to pin at all?
Thanks in advance for any help that you may be able to offer.

You can fill the holes with any of the good 2 part epoxies. Then just touch them up. You'll never know they were there.

my advice would to not cut your lip slots to wide. Make tucking your lips tight and dont use pins at all exsept maybe two near the front of the lips. Push them in deep and you will not have to cover much. Check mount for a couple of days to make sure everything is staying place. Good luck!
I appreciate the advice.
