well, i was asking myself if a wall mount is without a panel necessarily or could it be with a panel too?

I do all of my shoulder wall mounts without a panel, but that is just how I like them. I use the Gary Bowden head hanger system on all of my deer mounts and I just love the way they stand off from the wall they hang on just enough to let the fur on the mount flow naturally back to the wall behind the mount. But it is really up to each individuals personal taste.
