I need help with fleshing a mountain lion, I have fleshed 30 or 40 Deer and elk capes, I was getting quite good at it I thought. I just started on a mountain lion and I cant get my Quebic lite fleshing machine to shave the hide evenly. It does a great job with Deer hide, is there a trick to fleshing lions? is that why it costs so much to have a lion tanned because a the difficulty? I have had it in the pickle for 4 days.

I pressure fleshed mine and after i had done that it needed hardly any thinning anywhere exept on the face and lips etc. and i just used a wire wheel for that.
thanks for responding, but what is pressure fleshing? Is that the same as useing a fleshing beam and draw knife?
