I bought a wt cape from a guy who was going to use D.P. on it and I'm going to tan it with liqua tan.It has already been shaved thin and everything turned,but has not been salted.Should I go ahead and salt or put directly in pickle? It was shipped 2nd day so it is already thawed out.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, go ahead and it at least over night. I have put a few capes in the pickle after only one day of salting and have had no problems. Hope this helps. MichelleW
