Well here's what I have... I just found a hawk skull, skinned it out, and put it in my beetle tank yesterday. They are really going at it. But I use a heat lamp to heat up the tank and that dried out the skull fast. Should I resoak it in water. Plus I cant get all of the beetles off of it. They just dont want to let go! Anybody have some advice?

my opinion would be to get rid of it FAST. This is not a legal thing to keep, and if you want to keep your taxidermy license and stay out of jail, put it back where you got it.
Unless the person is in Canada in which case they need to get a permit from teh Ministry of Natural Resources.. which since it has already been skinned they won't give since they have no proof it wasn't poached or poisoned etc. No matter what at this point it's very likely illegal to have it. Sorry =(
As for the bug issue? Drop it in alcohol and leave it there... or straight ammonia.. that usually fixes the stubborn lil buggers =)
