Help please, what base coat/primer can I use on a glassfibre resin fish mount,what do you guys use for a first coat under your polytranspar paints, surely the acrylic will not take adhere to the resin,I thought of automobile primer paint but fear I would lose scale detail,I have the Museum quality fish book but it says Aluminium paint, I presume you guys over there knows what this is, surley someone from the UK reads these forums ?
