Looking for information about making artificial/replica antlers...would appreciate any "How to" information, beginning with the very basics, that anyone would be willing to share. Thank you

I have been looking for the name of a company that will make casts, or molds for antlers. The response is not overwhelming though. If you find anything please e-mail me. thanx

Theres a reason for this. Making replicas is very difficult to master. Also, theres more then one way of doing them. Add to this that its still a changing and adapting venture, and youll see why theres no how-to books or videos available. There have been some how-to articles in Breakthrough Mag and Taxidermy Today, though. For example, I use urethane with a latex mold. Others use rubber molds with polyester. Some stain, others paint. All are still perfecting.
