what kind of alchol do i need to use to degrease b4 i tan with borax?

Degreasing

The time to degrease is before you skin it. Use borax to get most of the slime off. Slime has bacteria in it that is breaking the fish's skin down. After skinning, you can soak the skin in a solution of Dawn/Water to really get the grease off. Make sure you are using cool water and treat the skin very carefully (so as not to remove scales)

Cut it 2/3 with water. Rinse well after a day or so with cool water. (Methanol)
