computer crashes when i use search

my computer crashes when i use the search, was wondering if anyone else has this problem. bought my computer in 97-98, maybe to old?

Click on My Computer and Open
Click on Control Panel and Open
Click on System and Open
Click on Performance tab

If you are showing 60% or less, in free system resources, you might want to go to your C drive, and clear:
History, Cookies, and Temporary Internet Files. Clean out your e-mail contents also.

Let us know if this fixes the problem.

go to Start, and Shutdown, and use either Shutdown or Restart to clear system.

Yes your computer Is very old..I've got a 2000 It's working alright
once we discontinue windows 95 and 98/SE for good and stick with
windows xp everyone can plan long term
