when to antlerlighting.com. they have the chandelier making videos for $50, i dont mind spending the money for a video, i just wanted to know if anyone else had it and thought it was worth the money. i checked the archives, and there were only 2 pages of info on this mostly about people asking about the subject and others telling them to check the archives. could someone at least point me in the right direction to find such info whether it be instructions or video and where to get them at. thanks for your time. jim bob

But let's talk. What could a video possibly tell you? If you don't know grounds from commons from hot leads, then you really ought to find another hobby. Electricity isn't that complicated, but one mistake could ruin your day, admit it. As for the antler part, you're simply going to have to find enough antlers to make what you have an idea for. If it's symmetry, then you're going to have to spend a lot of time mixing and matching antlers. You COULD buy or make reproductions, but it's still going to take time. THEN you have to drill the antler to run the wires. When it comes to corners, you're going to have to blow them out and restart your drill till you get to the place you intend on installing a fixture. After the wires are run, you're going to have to repair the blow-outs with epoxy putty and stain them to match the real deal (which makes repro's so much better at this). After all that, you're going to have to buy the hub or the connection box, chain and fixtures to work. (THIS is probably where their money is really made in making specialized appliances to fit the antlers.) It ain't rocket science, but it will take some combination of coordination, electrical wiring skills and artistry to pull it all off. If you're missing one of those three, the tape ain't gonna help.
