WHITETAIL DESIGNER SYSTEMS free reference photo changed

I just changed out the FREE Download page of the WHITETAIL DESIGNER SYSTEMS website in the Taxidermy Reference Photo section. I think you will find that this one will print out REAL good if you opt to print instead of saving to disk. Printing these out on photo grade paper at 8" x 10 1/2 " will give you a pretty darn good quality of print that can be trimmed to fit a standard 8" x 10" frame. It is a large file so that it can be printed at that size, so it might take a few more seconds to download on a slow dial up connection.

I was working on trying to get photos of eye shape changes as the head position changed. I got the eye shape change, and also picked up a lot of face muscle location with this one. The iris of this animal is just way too dark to show pupil position in relationship to head tilt, curse the luck, I wanted it all!

The photo is of a whitetail doe, but the point of origin, and the point of insertion of muscles does not change with sex of animal. Skull proportions will be different, which will also be affected by age, and muscle mass will be greater with age, which will have a profound effect on the overall look, but again, point of origin, and point of insertion of muscles will still be the same.

Once again Glen comes through

once again glen comes through with a great freebie. Thanks for the pics. I also just tried some stop rot for the first time. Painted it and injected it in my duck feet before injecting with masters blend and what a difference. The color loss on the feet that I didn't inject was as expected but the stop-rot feet were a lot lighter and easier to paint. I am sold on this product. Thanks.
