Your state association or the national groups all have seminars that can show you much better than they can tell you. We have Tony Finazzo and Jim Kimball at the Nationals in Huntsville this July along with several other top of the line bird guys. They'll all talk to you and it's free for the cost of admission and membership.

In the meantime..

Do some research here in the archives regarding pinning instead of wiring the wings on standing mounts, there's much difference of opinion on this subject, but I prefer this method much more than wiring...
Good luck

OF your work and I will help you with positioning and placement. Also, just let me know specifically what is troubling you in a email and I will work on it with you.
As always, the search button is a great place to start, but it is sometimes nice to be able to ask directly.
I answer all emails, but sometimes I do not get on the computer till late in the evenings.

You are not to specific, but I assume you are talking about the simple process of wiring the wing to the bones. A couple tips 1. At the end of the wing, past the last joint you need to embed the wire into the bones of the tip of the wing. It cant go back or out of the wing then. Also, there is a tendon just past the last joint, run your wire under that tendon and into the tip. 2. Next I secure the wire to the radius/ulna area. A good fast wat to do this is with electrical tape- wrapping it well. On Turkeys I secure first with zip-ties and then tape. 3 I then hold the wire on the humerous and bend the humerous up as it naturally moves. I then wrap that sucker with tape. 4 Note where wings attach, then run your wire down through the belly so the both come out in the same area. Twist em to gether and secure it bak into the bird. Hope these tips help
