I bought a small mammal tanning kit to tan a racoon and it says to warm the soft tan tanning oil but it doesnt say how my question is how do i warm the tanning oil thanks

The easiest way is to place it in hot water either on the stove or if your tap runs hot enough that will work too. Shake it gently as you bathe it in the hot water and soon it too will be warm!

if it is a plastic bottle, put hot water in the sink and set it in it. crack the top to let out air, dont let it tip over. This is along the same way Grandma heated baby bottles for your mom. Unless she didnt use bottles, well maybe your mom heated them for you? or maybe not. Well this is how I warm my tanning oils.
