I have read and heard about having to descale snakes. How is that done? Only one item came up when I typed in "descaling a snake" in the Orange search box.

You are using it as a wall hanger or for a wallet or hat band. If you are mounting the snake , do not descale as it will ruin the mount and then you will have to repaint all the scale coloring back onto the moutn. You will also not be able to stack the needed scales on curves ect ect
