Can you pin the wings instead of wiring on a strutting turkey. I have the bird ready and realized I was out of wire and no where to purchase any on a Sunday.

Jacob, Just use a coathanger- I wire them to the "wrist" area but you can get by easily with a shorter partial wire. Card the wing feathers well and once dry the wings won't be a problem. Enjoy, Aaron H.
