question on mounting my first fish

Does anyone know of a homemade solution that I can place my fish in during the skinning process if I get interrupted and can not finish skinning all at one time? How long can the fish stay in this solution? Thanks

Should I rewrap the fish in a damp towel First? Do I have to worry about freezer burn?

No

Freezer burn is one of the best things for a fish. It will help keep the scales on while you skin it out. It's one of the factors I like about freezer burnt fish. Just remember if it gets that burnt it will rehydrate in water.

Thanks for the info
