I have been reading in the archives about different mediums to use in a tumbler,and i found alot of different answers.what i would like to know is if there is anyone out there that mix hardwood sawdust and corncob grit together and how well it works on birds and mammals or should i use sawdust for birds and cob for mammals.also when is the best time to tumble mammals.one last thing what is the best kind of grit to buy?thanks for the help
