tuck or not

ive been tucking my deer eyes but have noticed they will stay in areas i dont tuck.can you cut off extra skin that you would normally tuck and just glue and position skin?

you can do just about anything as long as it works. I personally tuck my eyelids, but at times I can't due to the fact that they have been cut off(especially if the customer capes out his own deer), were damaged, etc. In these cases gluing the eyelid works very good. If gluing works better for you then tucking, then glue them. Just make sure you have those eyelids exactly the way they need to be or you'll have a hard time to fix it later on.

method - i scult the eye with epozie scult and let setup - then i mount the deer and use Epo-Grip to glue the lid to the epoxie
