will the stop slip chemical automatically stop hair from falling out of the hide if applied? has anybody used this? thanks

Stop slip only works BEFORE a hide begins to slip. Once it starts, nothing stops it. Though I have no idea what chemicals are contained in it, I'm assuming it's some type of astringent. Products like Stop Rot work much better and are designed to be applied before a hide becomes questionable.
