I could swear I once saw this in the archives but danged if I can find it. If the customer strictly wants the real head on a large northern mount has any of you ever removed the head to facilitate in removing tissue? If you have could you give a quick run down? Hope this isn't to far out in left field. Thank you in advance.

I remove the meat from the jaw area thru the mouth. If you have the Breakthrough Fish Manual I believe it is in there. Be careful for the teeth they are very sharp. Alot less work than removing the head and then repairing it.

I just swear I read this in the archives. Not my normal procedure of skinning a northern but now I know I'm not missing out. Thanks.
