What needs to be done with buffalo horns? Do they have to be boiled off like antelope horns. Or do you just let them dry out.
I have neaver done a buffalo head before but some one just gave one to me so i guess it is time to try. Caping it out sure was fun. HA!

But they HAVE to come off. After you've skinned and capped the beast, put the headgear in a plastic garbage bag. In a couple weeks they'll fall right off. But wear rubber gloves and make sure you're up wind or you'll fall off as well.
