Going to try my 1st turkey. Can I use Rittels super solvent instead of mineral spirits or gas to degrease? I work in my basement and would rather no inhale fumes or blow up the house. I know i will probably have to tumble & blow dry longer,but I figure it would be safer. Also will this be OK to use with DP or Borax?

Rittels super solvent is a great degreaser! Just make sure you have all the fat pockets fleshed off the skin good. I use it on everything from birds to bear.

Just make sure you have all the fat pockets fleshed from the skin first. Since I started using it, I use it on everything from birds to bear now. Also it works fine with DP.
