how can I get the meat out of a foxes foot pads?
Can you just leave them how they are?

I use a pair a scissors to trim out the fat a small curved pair will clean them up good. later

I have no idea but if it was me I'd take out as much as poss. use household objects, be creative.

Decide which side he'll lie on then make the incisions in the under side of the ankles. This also made it easier to get the hide over my form. Good luck
Just use a sharp scapel blade and cut out the fat from the foot pads. It does not make any difference where you make the incision, since the bottom of the feet are not visible on most mounts. Also, do not discard the fat after you cut it away-it makes a great soup!

a laying down coyote with its feet out (showing) - had to split pads to get some of pad out - replaced pad (internal) with clay and then used apozie sculpt on outside - i then textured it with a tooth bush - looked (and felt) fantastic
