painting my first fish. messed up royaly & need your help..

i am painting my first lm bass, i have followed my video, reffered to the paint schedule that came with my paints, & nothing looks right. can i paint the whole fish white and start all over, or should i throw it back back in the river. need all the advise i can get.

all you need to do is wipe it down with some thinner get all the old paint off and start over. painting white is bad. what paints do you use? give me your email and i will send you a paint schedule. i use polytranspar

fish expect to paint it 12-16 times b4 it looks good - then when you get to repros multiply that by 2 - if someone shows you (handson) you can get it right away but not from a video (that is how i learned) - practice practice practice

Randal, I still have the first bass I mounted. Painted and re -painted it many times until I got it right. I still use it to try out new paints or ideas. The biggest problem when starting out is that we tend to paint the fish too heavy. Try light coats and just re-color. You will get it soon good luck !
