I have a bear hide for a life size mount that is tanned and i dont have any sizes on it what do i do to get the right sizes do i soak it in salt water and then can i let it dry again untill iam ready to mount or do i need to freeze it

You REHYDRATE it (Click the orange icon and type that in). It's not salt water either though a handful of salt wouldn't hurt. Many tanneries suggest warm water, clothes softener, and other things so you might want to check with them.
After you rehydrate it, stetch it girth wise as far as you can. Then lengthwise, and finally girth wise again. Now measure the cape, roll it up in a plastic bag and freeze it (or refrigerate it if you can get the form within a day or two). Then thaw it and mount.
