Probably nothing, just depending on lingo someone uses. You might check the archives for more information on eurpoean mounts themselves if that's what you are planning to do.

I like "Skull Mount" personally, as it is a better description of what the product actually is. Euro Mount is called that because that's where the style was made popular. I suppose the most appropriate term would be along the lines of "European Styled Skull Mount". "Skull mount" or "European Mount" are both acceptable tho and are interchangeable.

I do skull mounts and when i do a deer or elk i do the full upper skull (less the bottom jaw). I think of a Euro mount as only part of the upper skull, with the whole bottom side of the upper skull cut off. I personally do not like them as well as the full upper skull as i do them. Maybe they do them that way because it is alot easier to clean. Skullery....Jeff
