i got a great hide that i bought to mount it is tanned , turned and ready to go . except the ears , eyes and a little around the mouth needs to be sofened. i dont know what kind of tan they used all i know is they said it was proffesionally tanned. any help? thanks jamie

Not trying to be a smarta$$ but that would be your best bet. We can only guess on here.
Sounds like a soak and sweat is in order but there are variations on that. The seller or tannery should be able to tell you what to do.
