What should I use to clean skulls

I have several skulls that have been cleaned by my dermestid beetles. I want to know what to use to whiten the skulls without damaging them.

Van Dykes sells some skull whitening / cleaning agents. I haven't bought any yet, but I was thinking about it. Good luck:)
