First Chinook

I am going to try my first Chinook salmon and was wondering if their is anything I need to do different from a Steelhead trout. I am going to try to make a head for it using alginate and polyester resin. I have the video for steelhead by Pete Gierke and am going to follow that. Because the Salmon is 25 lbs do I need to take any special precautions. Tried the search button but did not really find what I wanted.

Once you learn the method of casting a head it pretty much works the same for any fish...

Bill, what is the video that you have? Does it show him casting a head? Where can I find it. I do mostly repros, but I have two steelhead skin mounts to do this year and would like to cast the heads and fins.

It shows how to cast the head and skin mount the fish. The phone number on the video case is 1-888-430-7902.
