Ok this was a great story. I read in the latest addition of Popular Science Magazine that Chipmunks have the ability to heat up there tails when threatened by a Rattler. It emits a Infrared red heat signature that for some reason Rattlers are afraid of. It does not heat the tail up for another snake just a rattler. Scientists still don't know how they developed this defense mechanism but it works most of the time.

things, it protects my head.
( No just kidding, that's great info. It's amazing what God equipted animals to do that we don't know about.)
