I am getting two gray fox hides. The man I am buying them from does not know the measurements. I have searched the archive and can not find the info. How would I go about geting them for a full mount. They are dorsal cut.
Thanks in advance,
Ted

Ted,you need to measure eye to nose, tip of nose to base of tail, and the and if it is dorsal cut(split up the belly) lay the hide flat on it's back and open the hide up so it is flat. Then measure the distance across the middle of the belly midsection. This should be a pretty close measurement to what you need. Jesse... "split up the belly" isn't a dorsal incision! That would be called a ventral incision! Dorsal is an incision cut along the back.
Thanks guys for the info.
