Form Orientation?

Am I looking at the catalogs wrong....or, on a left turn deer form...the deer is facing to "his" left" but a left turn fish form, the fish is facing to it's right (our left)

Why is this.......I'm thinking I just ordered the wrong fish forms (my first time doing fish)

Something is confusing here. A deer form in LT(left turn) is in the deers perspective. Meaning that when you're facing it, it is looking to the right. If a fish is LT then it is facing to the left. Hope that answered your question. Peace- Jeff F.

That is pretty weird...

Having only done fish, I never knew that.

Do you suppose there is some subliminal message there? Perhaps we - as mammals can put ourselves in the deers hooves? I wonder how these naming methods came about. Weird...

If you order a deer form that is a "left turn" it means the deer is looking to its left.

Makes sense now!

For those of you beginners that are still confused about this, a guy from McKenzie just explained to perfectly for me.

We all know that a fish usually as a slight curve to the body when it is mounted on the wall. That curve is actually the head turned left or right. If you are going with a left turn, the fish will be mounted on the wall facing right because otherwise the head would be turned right into the wall.
