I need some information on preserving Deer and Elk legs and hoofs, I know that the bone marrow has to be removed but you really cant just leave tham lay out to dry. Is there a chemical solution to use? any help would be greatly appreciated.

Spider , you should have said I need a LOT of information . If you think you only have to remove the bone marrow than your in for a big surprise . You have to remove the entire bone and all the tendons up to the toe bones or you'll have a house full of bugs . Do yourself a favor and bring them to a taxidermist . Rick

Spider, you can get some beginner books from WASCO for around 25 to 30 dollars. In the very first book it will tell you how to do deer feet.
