How long does it take to apply for and recieve a CITES permit on average? I paid for a crocodile head from the Netherlands and the man said he applied for the permit right when I paid. It has now been a month and a half and he said he still has not yet recieved the permit. Is this normal?

In the US, they say up to 60 days. Sometimes depending on the circumstances you may be able to beg for it sooner in an emergency. (People travelling with pets and such). Each country would differ depending on manpower, backlog, etc. I don't think a month for something like this is strange. May take longer.
