I am starting on a squirrel that my cousin shot in January. It has been in the freezer since then I just started on it tonight and the paws are white and look like their freezer burned. Is that what that is? and is their a way I can fix it will I have to paint the paws? Thanks for your time

Yea Joe it's freezer burn starting-- no biggy though, take a little syringe and inject feet at ankles toward toes, do the lip area and nose alittle, all w/ water and in a little bit they'll be ready to skin. I did a mink that was in a guys freezer for 4yrs in a bubble padded mailing envelope, toes, lips, and nose were hard as rocks. Turned out fine.
