Pedestal Mounts

Can anyone explain the basic procedure to finishing the back of a pedestal mount. How is the hide trimmed and tacked since there is no board in the back of the form. What is used to finish the back and how do you do it so you don't do any seems. Also are there any good videos out there for a whitetail pedestal.Thanks
