Preserving Antelope Horns

I looked through the forums and couldn't find what I was looking for. I was wondering what options I have to preserve antelope horns after I pop them off. If someone could please tell me there process of horn mounts or if they find a good link it would be appreciated.
Thanks-Sam

this is what I do and have never had any problems. Once off of the core I turn the horn upside down and fill with borax. I dump out the excess and let sit for a week or so to dry out. Once the skull plate is cleaned up and dried out I brush out any loose borax and I bondo the horns back on at the right depth and position. Once the mount is finished I rub a light coat of WD-40 on them and wipe off the excess. This seems to put a little life back into them without making them shiny. This is what I do, good luck.
